2022, post third world war period, year 2 of the nuclear winter.
Due to an augmentation of the temperature which now never goes under 35°C(old 95°F) and constant dust in the air, the world population drastically decreased from 4 billion people to an indeterminate number (over a billion people according to the official reports, less than 100.000 people according to the more pessimistic clandestine organisations). The multiple atomic assaults has made the use of electricity an old memory and all the hard drives are out of use.
The few people left try to meet and live in bunkers, since the air outside has too much ashes in it to be breathed.
Thankfully, some people printed some of their pictures before the war, and even if most of them are really damaged, they are the last bit of hope, and make them remember of a tender, easier past.
