Industriel Charmant is a new series of photograph I'm doing.
Paris has a lot of old buildings, and it is globally an interesting city if you like architecture. However, we didn't only build Haussmannian buildings, and therefore (like many other cities), several type of constructions coexist.
I find this particular spot in Paris very interesting: the metro, after crossing the Seine (the river) on a bridge, directly penetrates the neighborhood, and slaloms between the very old buildings. There is therefore an interesting contrast between the retro-modernity of the metro and the buildings, which I like very much.
For this series, I tried to focus on the contract between the two subjects (industrial elements and Paris), the composition (mostly working on lines, straight or curves), and colors (giving a special tint and atmosphere, voluntarily unreal and dreamy).
Ahh now I see it, looks pretty good It reminds me when I saw Paris for the first time, I was so fascinated with the buildings, they have a special charm and you got a great shot of it
