New Brand : FUCK Fashion by NEOkeitaro New Brand : FUCK Fashion by NEOkeitaro
Okay... Let me explain what happened those last days...
I'm wearing the same coat for like... 3 years, now. So, during the last holydays, (don't forget I'm a clothe mad) I decided to... buy an other one. That's what they call... a revolution.
Anyway, I really do like this coat, it's long, so it makes me look tall, it's black, so it makes me look thin (actually the coat is thin too..), and, so, anyway, I think I look cool in that coat. The problem is : this week, at school, I wore that coat with a black trousers and... a black pull over... Imagine... Black + Black + Black...
I didn't expect that much reaction... It's even worst than when people thought (knew ?) I was gay... Though I never had phisical damanages yet... (thank god...) But still.
I had extremly BAD reactions. Lot of people think I'm mad, SM, gothic, whatever... (in France we don't have emo...) And they yell at me, swear... You all know how that can be. I don't talk about teacher reactions, or even just people in the street... French people are so rude O.o.

Anyway, there's an other thing you should know. I have in my school a lot of really righ sons or daughters, and so they always have to wear the last... I don't know, very fashion and expensive they found. Like the last dress they saw on Paris Hilton... Got it ? I don't like that. Even teachers judge you A LOT about clothes. It sucks. I fight against that. How fight a clothe problem ? With clothes !

Here you are :D

Enjoy :)

Hmm, fashion is more important in france then most places of the world, so fashion is a higher priority there and I think a lot of people constantly notice what people wear as a judge of character. BUT even if you aren't goth or anything I would say wear what you wear and try to be comfortable with what you are regardless of society... I know it's difficult but I think that is the best way to fight that clothing problem is by breaking tradition. Good luck with all this though and hopefully people in the future can recognize and see you for what you are. <3

Don't fight fashion. Fight other people's idea of fashion
I want to be a designer. I hate how a lot of my classmates dress.
As long as you looked presentable then you look fine.

Wonderful that #10 Downing has a cat employee. If Everybody had a cat to soothe and comfort them this would be a much better place with less hate and war - and far fewer rats as well. John, "CatManLove"

Kinda reminds me of an incident on the bus the other day. I was wearing a black miltary dress cut coat, black pants, and a black beret so this girl comes up to me and says "You know this is America, not France, right?"

the truth is that even when you do dress unlike everyone(in no particular style) and stuff u can still get put into category such as punky rock style or a stonner/druggy

that is actually not true. Most of the people you're talking about aren't very original...
I happened to wear last week a pair of short trousers, tabis and a slim T-shirt, and no one thought it look punk or druggy, or anything else they know...

Nah, really, when you got your own style, you're just different, but people don't fit you in any category...

anyways...

Hmmm, thanks.

Actually the general situation has gotten worst since the day I made this deviation, although my personal situation has gotten better. But really France isn't any better than any other places, trends just need a little more time to come.

As to "fight the power"... it's just silly.

What do you mean by "homosexual remarks"? If they use the fact of being gay as an insult, as well as being goth...
Well, that's a lot of crap :|

well not as an insult really, but i just love to wear black so thats what you can see me wearing most of the time. and then someone just came up to me and asked if i was gay? :/ oh well, its probably just not because of my wardrobe, i have said some anti-female comments in the past :D

Is black a gay color in any country? You make me wonder, suddenly...
And, well, in fact, most people I've heard saying anti-female comments were VERY heterosexual...

Fashion pretty much sucks. I have always shopped at thrift stores because they have hidden gems you can stumble on for really cheap. but as I grew up people made fun of me for my cheap clothing and the sad part is I started listening to them. i started buying new clothes and I didn't like the cuts, the way the fabric was so cheap and see through and stiff. I wanted my pre-worn, comfy, and DIY clothing but people called me Emo, poor, cheap.

It hurt me but now I've gone back to my thrift store clothes. I don't care if I look Emo or Goth or Preppy or Steampunk for all I care. I am who I am, clothes can reflect me feeling at times but most of the time it doesn't concern me

Good for you :) Judging people on their clothes is never a good idea, and most of the time original clothing is a mark of independence of thought, which is a great quality :)

Aw I love fashion. I designed clothes for ages, and although I don't sew that much now, I still love clothing. However, there is a huge difference between loving fashion, and discriminate people because the way they look. And that was what those people have done, and should be punished for

Man do I ever feel this! I know exactly where you're coming from with this. (btw, the coat sounds awesome!)

I live in Canada and attend a school that is supposedly big on the whole 'multiculturalizm', 'individuality', 'anit-bullying' stuff. Looks good on paper anyways. I wear stuff that is more... uh... over the top than most of my classmates (keychains off my belt, black, bright colours, fadora hats, fingerless gloves, suspenders) and I do my hair is ways that they dub 'weird'. It's amazing how many people will get on your case just 'cos of how you look! It's insane. I mean not everyone wants to be mainstream. Sheesh... goth, emo, cutter, j-poser, I've been called so many of these by other students (only a couple of times by a teacher or adult). I'm appauled that the teachers would be so judgemental based on something as superficial as fashion.

Not much else to do other than stand up and fail to conform. ^_^ It takes courage to be original and that's what I admire.
