In troubling emotional times, I have, like many others I'm sure, this habit to dwell back into my past. It helps me to reevaluate the present, as well as reflecting on my previous mistakes.

The black and white version of this picture wasn't a mistake, however. In fact, it's one of my favorite pictures from the ones I've taken, and one of the few I'm still happy with the processing I've applied then.

However, curious as I am, I checked again how the color version looked like. The sun was still there, on the hill, but that dark bluish tint came to me as a total surprise.

I hope I can take a lesson out of this... There are things that I still love, but hopefully it will still allow me to love and discover new things.

And with chance, it won't always have to be a sacrifice.
