DNG files.... :hmm:

I new...to the world. So ahmm.. raw files are like the .zip things right? Just extract them?

And can I take the DNG's from one canvas on PS to a blank one like the PNG files ? [Jeez, I ought to stick to what I know i.e. poetry and music].

Anyway, so are they transparent blah blah?

Nope, not at all.
Dng files, or raw files, are pictures. They are digital negatives, if you prefer. Those files are high quality pictures that you can manipulate with some programs like Adobe Camera Raw without any loss of quality. It has nothing to do with transparency, or PNG. It's just high quality JPG, to put it very simply.
It is very technical, so if you don't see immediately the use of it, I would advise you to download the jpg files, that are way easier to use for pretty much the same quality.

Aiya...Grazie molto my friend. I was JUST going to download the thing. So it's basically a BG...I get it. Now that I think about it... I think I saw a friend of mine working in AutoCad, and he may have been using those extensions. :hmm:

I was hoping it was brushes...oh well. Of no use then. 16 and a half minutes I'll never get back Merde! :) Just kidding yeah.

Good job on the DD and congratulations on your first my friend! Take care now.
