Well, this is it!

This is a simple short movie about a Parisian couple. Who are they? What are they thinking? Are they gonna last? Watch to know more!

And tell me what you think :)

I really liked this. If you want some critique from someone who has no authority in filmmaking whatsoever, here it comes. :)

Visually, I like the look of the movie. The exposure seems slightly below "average", which I personally prefer (low-key over hi-key any day). Black levels are excellent, I'm assuming you shot this digitally, and if you did any artistic dropping of the shadows to more closely approximate film, then great job. If the picture style in the camera was the source of the deep blacks, then it works great. Overall contrast is also very striking, which is also owed by the deep blacks.

Moving to sound, it's generally the first thing that suffers in filmmaking, but here it is very good. Seems like someone took the time to record alot of ambient noise, and the mixing and EQing is also great. It works very well.

Camera movement is also good. Personally I generally prefer slightly more mass to the camera, and less subtle movements, but that is 100% subjective. If the camera is supposed to be POV then small movements are almost required to get that across to the audience. Too steady and it seems artificial and not connected to a person moving. If you did any slight anti-shake in post, also great job.

As for lighting, not sure if any lights were used, but the look of the lighting is superb. It is natural, which is a very nice advantage to shooting digital, since film tends to need alot of light, which sometimes really gives it a lit look. This looks very natural, no big rimlights or such. My favourite shot is of him as the train goes by, the subtle lighting moving across his face, and the overall look is wonderful.

As for lenses, the shallow depth of field look is so wonderful for video. I like that it starts wider and then narrows as we intensify the situation. Also the insert shots are great, her eye in particular.

Overall, really nice, thanks alot for uploading and sharing your work!
