I am back from holidays, where I spent most of my days in the South of France and Italy. However, artists aren't really ever in holidays. I took the opportunity, being "elsewhere" to take pictures and make videos, as well as working on a few timelapses. Thirty thousand pictures later... Clair de Lune is born.
Clair de Lune, named after the piano piece by Debussy used in the video, is a five minutes long collection of some of the timelapses I shot this summer. You will find breathtaking landscapes evolving in a way a human cannot naturally witness, the earth rotating on itself, clouds forming and merging, lighting bolts firing... The video is available on youtube in a variety of sizes, including the great 2560x1440 resolution, which some 27" and 30" screens allow, that I strongly recommend you use if you have such monitors. The original video is actually even bigger than that, since all the pictures come from the 5D, which means I will also be able to make prints out of frames of the movie.
Technical points aside, I hope the movie will make you feel something. I find the topic to be quite universal: everyone can enjoy lying on the grass and contemplating the stars, slowly realizing how tiny we are in the universe. If anything, the distorted perspective of time here makes the feeling even more prominent. I welcome all feedback, and don't hesitate to share it with people you like

NEW PORTFOLIO WEBSITE!
Funny how things go in sync sometimes... As deviantART is slowly turning into a drawing community (with a new design!), and as I am more and more leaning toward professional work, I felt the need to create a new website for myself... So I present to you, adrienlefalher.com !
The new website is supposed to look very clean, and focus heavily on images: not a lot of text, few pictures but each of them were cherry picked... A lot of them, also, are NOT on deviantART yet! I strongly encourage you to check them out on the website :)
You'll also find a blog, where I'll see be posting tutorials on how I created some of my pi

JULIE
Hello ! Fancy seeing you here!
I don't talk much about it here, but I've been studying cinema for three years now. Actually, some of my oldest followers may remember the "SOME ORDINARY PEOPLE" series I've done a few years back! My studies are now done, and after a good number of projects (including a feature length movie, starring Roger Moore, where I was camera operator and colorist!), I'm finally on the verge of directing a movie very dear to my heart. I present to you: Julie.
Julie is about a transgender woman, who after years of living as a boy, finally decides to live

You can see I've been busy this year because it's the first time since I've started this yearly review that I'm doing it late... Almost one month late.
I'm actually too busy being happy and working and happily working to take care of my online presence that much, even though deviantaART is actually still one of my homepages.
This year I've been working on a romantic comedy featuring Roger Moore (yes, that Roger Moore), called Incompatible, and I'm now preparing my next movie, Julie, about the journey of a transgender girl. Stay tuned, it's gonna be awesome!

Exploring the prints offering from DeviantART
It's been a while I've been meaning to write this journal...
A few months ago, I realized I had earned enough money by selling my prints on deviantART to actually buy some! (Thank you all, by the way) But then I realized I never saw what my deviations actually render as prints. As someone who is spending a lot of time and money to make the most high quality pictures I can, it made me quite uneasy to sell prints that not only I don't have any control on, but that I've never even seen. So, I decided to use the money I earned to actually buy my OWN print
