Lost In Space - Modernism

This is the alternate cover for dezember.07's album, Lost In Space that you can now listen on Soundcloud, in full and for free, here: Soundcloud (you can even download it!)

This cover is inspired by Modernism and Minimalism, and the whole trend of using Helvetica, created in 1957 by Max Miedinger.

It was also a project that would allow me to try new methods with Photoshop, new ways of doing things I used to do before, but more efficiently, and with a better results. I mainly explored here textures, mapping, and kerning. You can download the very high, 300dpi resolution. Obviously the effect would then appear overdone, but once printed it looks much better.

I hope you like this. I did this about a month ago and I still like it, so I guess it's not that bad

I'll upload the back cover in scraps soon, and if I have time, a 3D render of it.
